Thats right NoRians, its the 2nd annual prom in NoR. Our own lillian has been very busy setting this up. Good, clean fun or naughtiness behind the bleachers, its up to you! Tonight, Friday 22nd of May from 8 til 11 slt.

Well NoRfest 2009 ended on Sunday. It was an amazing event, easily the best this community has had to date. Please, when you all get a moment thank the organizers of it because without them this could never have been put together. And while you are at it, give yourselves a big thanks as well, since we have the very best community in SL that makes all this effort worth while.

 Ok so the demo team from the Day The Earth Stood Still has cleared Mega & the building has begun. We left the sim open yesterday as it was unannounced BUT we will be closing the sim later today. We are estimating 1-3 days build time.
We know you are excited at the new build, as are we, but we ask that you refrain from contacting the builders until after they are done. When the build is finished we will release the names so that the community can thank them.

Desc: We have been wanting to do this for awhile and hopefully this will kick off a monthly community & NoRsim exchange. As this is the first one we will keep it an open format. Normal protocols for the LoN channel will be suspended for the duration as this will be a sort of official chat, however, we expect everyone to behave and those that do not will be given an unvitation.
The estimated duration will be 20-60 minutes. Look forward to seeing you there!

UPDATE: OK the project we were waiting on with the new website has finally worked the way we wanted. Basically we wanted to switch from our current format to joomla which gives us amazing flexibility and makes the long term goals for this site easier to achieve. The joomla version was done roughly 2 months ago but we were waiting on a migration project.
We have a lot of content here that we did not want to lose so we been working on migrating that and all your accounts over to the new site. The forums and posts are all over there and since we cannot keep updating to forum content we have cut off updating it on Friday, January 23, 2009. We are now checking your accounts to make sure everyone can log in the same to make this a seemless transition.
No worries, we are not completely removing this site, it will be archived and put in as a link in the new site.
An estimate of when we will switch to the new site will be within the next 2 days. It could be as soon as hours but we want to make sure things are right.
Things to come, we have some really interesting opportunities and content we will be making available to the players. We are hoping the website in your in game worlds continue to merge into a much better and in depth experience for everyone.

Well NoRians here we are again, another year done and another exciting year to come. There is so much coming I am at a loss to know where to start so I will keep it simple and just tantalize you with a couple things that are just a matter of when we decide to release them.
New NoR Website: We have had a new website roughly done for about a month now. Its a nice start for the evolution we are planning with a lot of different features we will be adding. Its been up for admin access for awhile now and will be getting officially released sometime in early January.
Rerolls in NoR: Each WARPS universe has an right to decide the cost of a reroll. Ours was 100% but we recently decided to lower the cost to 20% and allow it anytime. We quietly have turned it on but it will be official come January 1. This option will be replacing the RP for a reroll option in NoR. NOTE: You will not be given back your xp for any reason if you decide to do this. Also, I warn you about "stacking" your sheet to be "uber" in the current system. There are changes coming that you will find yourself at a distinct disadvantage if you only concentrate on 2-3 stats.
WARPS Meter 1.0: Although not NoR specific the 1.0 release of the WARPS system is in testing and will be coming out
Anyway, we just wanted to wet your whistles with just a tip of the iceberg of what is coming and wish you all a happy and safe New Years!

Oh sure, most of us have been very naughty, cmon we are talking about NoR :) This community is our own special family and we have fought long and hard to make it so.
So, in these difficult times we would like to wish you and yours a very merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, St. Nicholas Day, Bodhi Day, Virgin of Guadalupe day, Santa Lucia Day, Al Hijra, Boxing Day, and Kwanza. (Ha! Bet you didnt think we would list them all did ya?).

Remembrance will be shutting down for about 3 hours at 1pm SLT on 11.3.08. Thus begins the long line of changes we have been telling you about. Much more to come!

| All Hallowed’s Eve in NoR |
(aka HALLOWEEN!)
For the weekend most appropriate for our community we are having multiple events and celebrations across NoR for all the ghosts and goblins. The xp rate will be cranked up for the day and the events will continue all weekend long. Games, prizes, and fun for all. So stop on by and have a good time. Oh and an old friend may be skulking about
In addition, we are doing a tribute to one of the great movies: The Crow. All we will say is FIRE IT UP!
